Hi!

Claudia here, and I'm the founder of Sonidos! Music & More.

I started this business in 2019 due to a fundamental love and passion for music and its powerful ability to bring people together.

My journey in music retail started at the end of 2005 with Tower Records, and I knew at that point that there was something truly special about this industry. Sadly, my time there was short-lived, and Tower folded a year later. It was a devastating loss for all music lovers, but I was lucky enough to be brought aboard at legendary local music institution, Joe's Record Paradise, where I remained for a little over a decade. In that time, I amassed a large amount of valuable industry and management experience, and, through my many years of interacting with customers and fellow employees, I acquired a pretty decent foundation of musical knowledge. With the passage of time, I inevitably reached a point in my life where I felt ready to seek a new challenge; one that would fulfill me and lead to personal growth. So the next logical step was to set my goal of going into business for myself.

And, so, here we are.

My mission at Sonidos! is to bring back the Music-Store-As-A-Community ethos and to serve as a reminder of how discovering and buying music is meant to be a social affair; one where people from all walks of life can come together and connect through the power of music. If there's one thing I've learned in all my time doing this, it's that nothing brings people together quite like music does.

Ultimately, my goal is to meet and exceed my customers' needs, and to make you feel good about deciding to do business with me. After all - I wouldn't be able to do what I love if not for music enthusiasts like you, so I am thankful for your patronage and humbled when you choose to spend your hard-earned money supporting me and my vision.
